We support each other through life’s milestones and its difficulties. Here is how that shows up in the quiet, everyday work of being a congregation.
Members of the English Chapel of Antananarivo are those who regularly attend worship and who unreservedly accept the Declaration of Faith of the association. Members are eligible to participate in all elections held within the association, including those of the General Assembly.
When a member is hospitalised, the church is notified and members visit with a support contribution. In the case of surgery, additional support may be provided, including a special offering during worship.
When a member passes away, representatives of ECA present condolences and attend the funeral. Support is also extended when a member loses an immediate family member.
On the occasion of a member’s marriage, a gift is presented and a Board representative attends the ceremony and/or reception.
For members facing particular difficulties — legal matters, education costs, or basic living needs — a special offering may be collected, complemented by voluntary donations.
The financial resources of the association come primarily from offerings and other fundraising activities. The Board may also accept donations, bequests, and movable property. All income and expenditure are recorded in an annual cash journal, and a financial report is submitted each year.

Come worship with us and discover a community committed to growing in faith together.
